About Farideh Azar
• Farideh Azar is a person who is able to compose Mathnavi . Her deep interest in art and culture, colors and paintings has
attracted her to museums and galleries both inside and outside the country and has let her attract the beauties reaches her eyes to her inner self and simultaneously she wished to be part of the delusive world of colors so that she becomes eternal after her death through these colors. But how this could happen while she was not trained in painting.
• The artist found out that she makes images of life with pure creativity. In her paintings, where she uses the abstract style, she depicts images of life with various, wonderful watercolors which represent the spirit of life to the eyes of the audience."I quite enjoy talking to people through my paintings and making them to contemplate. It is joyful to see the moments that people understand my feeling, happiness, pain, hate, rage, and thanksgiving.

 • Some of the experts asserted that Ms. Azar's works are combinations of abstract and impressionism styles, but the artist herself does emphasize that she follows none of them." Such a practice will restrict my freedom. I am not interested in limiting myself. Rather, I prefer to shape out my paintings in a way that when there is no harmony between colors and subject, the audience can find out the sense of my painting- what has influenced and evolved me.

 • Another feature of Ms. Azar's works is that the artist takes the liberty to follow her own specific method and therefore she breaks all usual and customary borders. Neither in Iran nor in foreign countries can we find any kind of painting matches her works. In fact, she is a pioneer and creator in her style. Thus, not only this artist made her dreams real, but also moved forward and extended her insight deeper in this field.

Fraideh Azar is a mother who has spent her long life without being aware of her wonderful talent in art specifically in painting.
About two years ago, as she was advised by a master of painting who stated that "God has gifted art in all human beings that shall be discovered and work on it so that one we can get closer to God", she started paintings.

As all her audience are unanimous in this regard, in her works, Ms. Farideh Azar talks to her surrounding people in silence and all her paintings shows concepts of anger, passion, faith in God, think of heaven and hell or need to pray. What comes to the mind of audience by the first glance is the colors that are beautifully present there through different forms and shapes that have perfect congruity with the subject. Indeed, Ms. Azar expresses her subjects and interests based upon color and rarely she uses forms and shapes in her works.
She states in this respect: "colors represent human feelings and they are very significant in expressing one's mood. For instance, the red color shows both anger and passion at the same time".
In her thirty-three galleries, Ms. Azar used gouache and abstract style in her works. What seemed to me interesting about this artist in a short conversation we had together was the indescribable enthusiasm of an old mother who was looking forward to ending the gallery in order to return to her workshop and experience new works.
